Getting my Feet WET......

I've resisted for so long but alas, the time has come.

I love Blogs!  But usually this is everybody else's Blog. I decided to throw in the towel and get my feet wet because I have so much to say and show and I just can't tie my children down long enough to tell them everything and to show them the newest thing (usually a crafty project) that I made.  I was at CHA for work recently (that's the Craft and Hobby Association) and I got to see a multimedia art demo from Dyan Reaveley.  Dyan is a very talented, rather Funky Lady of the same age-ish as me.  I loved what she did and I was completely inspired by her demo.....but.....I could totally relate to what she was saying.

“I think, (insert cute English accent here) everybody thinks they’re so precious, they’re one day going to get to the library,…….they’re NOT!  No, No, Nobody cares about your journals except you.  My kids say…..’Please don’t leave me these things…Please………’”

A Blog is something that my children can look at on their own time and/or show my grandchildren since they are often the stars of most of my shows.  I still get my way.

This should be a fun journey so please enjoy this journey with me as I hope to pass along a lot of fun tips and techniques that I have acquired over several decades of Crafting, Collecting and Organizing.

Enjoy the journey,

  1. Sandy, that little guy is adorable, and he came with flowers in hand. Life is good. Happy one day late Birthday. Personally I choose denial over celebration, but thats just me.
Your blog looks great. The black background really pops everything. You are going to be so good at this. Keep smiling and creating.

  2. Very very cute mommy poos! Your plan is already working since the kids are now in bed and with your little reminder a little over an hr ago I was able to remember to get here...not only that I pulled Cale beside me to show him too ;) So consider it a success on your first day, not many people can say that but something tells me that's something you're used to by now miss talented. Love you! Loved seeing Koko beans and Katie's dog...I've hardly seen any pics of him.
